ComEd Information
1-800-334-7661 Dial (1-800 EDISON 1) for all calls except
Police or Fire emergencies in which case dial 9-1-1. When calling
ComEd you will be speaking to a Customer Service Representative
at one of their Call Centers. The Service Representative will
enter your request or problem into an automated dispatch system
which will create a Customer Ticket. This ticket is printed
to a remote receiving department where a response is created.
Please note the system is driven by addresses not location.
The street address allows the dispatch system attach a variety
of information to the Customer Ticket that will be needed by
the responding department of ComEd. If a street address cannot
be given, inform the Service Representative of the best possible
location of the problem in the Village.

Communication Committeee Has a Web Spot dotInfo
Under the Village Links there is now a tab called Community News which takes one directly to the Web pages managed by the Communication Committeee as Chaired by Linda Fox. It is a good starting place to find a high quality of communication and information between the elected and elector. But most of all it is intended to foster community awarness and involvement.
Democracy means decision by those concerned.
