President Abboud called the Special Meeting to order at 6:40 pm.  Roll Call.

Trustee Gohl motioned to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss pending legal matters at 6:42 pm.  Trustee Smithe seconded.  Roll Call.

MINUTES

Trustee Knoop motioned to appoint Trustee Knoop and Village Attorney Douglas Wambach to negotiate with MPI Prairie Stone, LLC to modify the Nederlander covenants in accordance with the terms set forth in the proposal of August 9, 2007 from MPI Prairie Stones attorneys Bell, Boyd & Lloyd with a payment to be negotiated by Trustee Knoop.  Trustee Schueppert seconded.  Roll Call.

Ayes:		6 (Mallen, Gohl, Smithe, McKevitt, Knoop, Schueppert)  
Nays: 		1 (Abboud) 
Absent:	0 

	Motion Approved

Trustee Schueppert motioned to appoint Trustee Knoop and Trustee McKevitt to negotiate with Dallas-Christopher, Ltd. and affiliated entities to annex all or portions of the disconnected properties commonly referred to as the “Duda Properties”, to Barrington Hills pursuant to mutually acceptable development plans.  Trustee Mallen seconded.  Roll Call.

Ayes 		6 (Gohl, Smithe, McKevitt, Knoop, Schueppert, Mallen)  
Nays 		1 (Abboud) 
Absent 	0

	Motion Approved

Trustee Gohl motioned to adjourn the Public Session at 8:45 pm. Trustee McKevitt seconded.  All present said Aye.  Meeting Adjourned.
