President Abboud called the Special Meeting to order at 7:05 pm. Roll Call.

President Abboud indicated that the meeting was called to continue to allow public comment regarding the special use permit application to build a cell tower on Barrington-Countryside Park District property at Bateman Rd.
After this introductory statement, the President of the Barrington-Countryside Park District, Dick Lamkey, requested a 45 day continuance in order to resolve certain issues with regard to the application between the Park District and American Tower.

Trustee Mallen motioned to approve a 45 day continuance for the consideration of the cell permit application. Trustee Schueppert seconded. Some residents questioned Mr. Lamkey’s authority to request a continuance. They indicated that the Park District commissioners had unanimously voted to withdraw the application at their most recent meeting. After discussing this matter, a vote of the Village Board was taken. All present said aye.
Motion Approved
Trustee Schueppert motioned to adjourn the special meeting at 7:29 pm. Trustee Knoop seconded. All present said aye.
