1.6 Village of Barrington Hills Minutes of the Special Meeting of June 9, 2003 President Kempe called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll Call Present Absent James A. Kempe, President Theodore L. Russo, Village Clerk This is a special meeting called to discuss the disconnection and annexation of the Wamberg Property on the border of the Villages of Barrington Hills and Barrington at the corner of Lake-Cook and Hart Road, prior to a joint meeting of the Village of Barrington Hills and the Village of Barrington. As part of the exchange on territory, the Wambergs propose a mixed use development plan for which issues of concern were presented by the Trustees. 1. Details in the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)– i.e., lighting, landscaping, parking, etc. 2. Future disconnection 3. Bypass issue 4. Traffic 5. Occupancy Rates 6. Incorporate issues of Lot 5 into the IGA 7. Lot 5 land use 8. Economic value of the land transfer 9. Control over Lots 2, 3 and 4 A summary of issues discussed and placed in an order of importance as follows: Special Village Board Meeting June 9, 2003 – page 2 1. Border agreement and IGA – want right to approve any changes to plat; 2. Bypass – want it to be part of the IGA; 3. Lot 5; 4. IGA more specific in terms of: - Open space - Height requirements - Lighting – photometric plan - Parking 5. Traffic - Hart Road entrance timing The meeting with the Village of Barrington will be held on June 11, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. at the Barrington Village Hall.
