·         Barrington Hills 50th Anniversary Finale – Patty Meroni

o        Patty Meroni provided a summary of the year’s events and budget

o        The gala at the San Filippo’s had at least 60% to 70% new people in attendance.  There were nearly 300 people in attendance @ $150/person.  Total income $42.3K, total expenses $32.6K.   Final bills due no later than December 13.  Many gifts of time and money and services were provided.

o        Patty was given a small token of appreciation by the Village for her total 2007 efforts which would have been a significant cost to the Village had she not volunteered.  There are few people who could have maintained the schedule and relationships within the Village to get this accomplished.

o        Penny Horne prepared  and donated the beautiful table centerpieces which were extraordinary

o        The Barrington Hills Players were wonderful and the play was very educational as well as enjoyable for residents and the 2 Village founders who were able to be there for the event.

o        Bill Hannay and Patty will be preparing a DVD and ensuring all of the memorabilia is preserved for the Village.

o        Kudos to Patty!
